former art teacher and yearbook sponsor for1979-1980 yearbook. I would love to get another
copy of this book. I lost mine when someone broke into my
storage and removed my belongings and keepsakes. The cover
had an embossed metallic silver Viking and the backing was maroon.
It was a special book to me, because I worked with
a wonderful staff of high school youth, and
my own husband wrote articles for them and also a special
poem in it for the senior graduating

My son, John Longmire, was a freshman at LHS during the 2003-2004
school year. He was
killed Halloween night 2003 in
a tragic accident. I am told that the school annual has some dedications
in it for that school year for several classmates lost that year.
I would be very interested in acquiring one of those

We never received John's school photos for

belongs to Robert Douglas Jones.

This is Sherry (Coffman) Brady. I graduated in 1978 and would love to get in
touch with two friends that I've lost contact with... one is Jody Touchton
and the other is Mona Cox.
Jody went to Lowndes Jr. High and then her family moved to Florida. The last married name that I have for her is
Mills but I believe she might have divorced. She was studying law in Florida last time we
talked. I haven't heard from her since around 1980 so
I'd love to get in touch with her if any of you might know
how to contact her. I believe her brother Steve may still be in
Valdosta, but I'm not sure.
I'd also like to find Mona Cox. She was another of my best friends and attended
Lowndes High for a couple of years.. she would have graduated
in '78 as well.. but she also moved away. That I know of, Mona was living in Forest
Park, Ga, outside of Atlanta sometime around 1979. She may be still be in this area but I don't know what her married
name might be. I
believe she has a daughter named Melanie Lynn Hayden
(?) that would have been born around 1979 or so... and I
believe that her step brother, Wayne
Cox, may still be in the Valdosta area.
Since I now live near Atlanta, too, I'd really
like to find her again ... she might even be living really
close by..now wouldn't that be a hoot..lol.
Anyways.. if anyone knows how to get in touch with

Candice Kemp, (c/o '96), but I am getting married in less
than 3 months to a wonderful man. My problem
is this: I am trying to find my uncle. His name is Gerald
Ryan Kemp (c/o '92). He and I had
a falling out a few days after the death of my beloved Nanny
who was his Mama, and haven't spoken since. The last I heard
he was in Mt. Cheyenne, CO, but I have been told he has recently returned
to Valdosta. I have a beautiful daughter who got a lot of
her facial expressions from his Mama.
When we last saw each other she was a mere 9 months old.
She will be 3 years old in less
than 2 weeks and I would love for him to share in the joy
of her birthday as well as my wedding.
