          Mattie Debra Pierce [Jackson]                                                                         Picture

My Mom...I loved my mom so much that I would do anything for her. She just recently passed from a heart attack. It

hurts so bad to even think about it. I'd just talked to her on Christmas and now I'm having to lay her to rest. She

made me strong man I am right now. She was very proud of me and what I was doing with my life. She told me that

everyday and made sure she loved me. The kind of love a mom suppose to have for her son. I had the same love a

son is suppose to have for there mother. She gave me everything, if I needed it she would care about me rather

than herself. Just like in the Air Force...one of the core values "Service Before Self" She always made sure that

family came first. I'm not trying to question God's judgement on why he would take her from me and family. He

wouldn't do anything to hurt me, but to make me stronger. I will be stronger because that is what she would want

me to do, not to give up just because she is gone. She really isn't gone. There will always be a part of her in me. If

you've talked to her or seen her with me, you know how things were. You will be missed MOM...I still can't believe

that this really happened, God knew when it was your time so I'm good about that. I just wish you was still here so I

can hold you im arms one last time.

brother named his son after him: Richard Austin. His mother I know loved him dearly and misses him everyday. The

pain of a life taken may ease, but can never be replaced. The sorrow that she weeps is a mother's own, and now
