After graduation I did alot of traveling and being a bum. I got married in '99 and she has

managed to straighten me out. We lived in Athens for 5 years while she finished pharmacy

school and are now currently living in S.C. where i'm working towards a Masters in

Education. I have a 18 month old boy named Tyler who is a perpetual motion machine. It

was good seeing what all of you have been up to. For those of you w/out a myspace page,

Well as you all know I did not graduate in 92 or any time for that matter. I did get my

GED though and went on To Val Tech for my computer/accouting degree. I met my

husband Joel out at Moody and we've been married for 9 years (yes I was married 6

months before most of you graduated)as of yet God has not blessed us with any children.

After my husband got out of the air force, we moved to his home town in Alabama in

1995. We were there untill August 99 when we moved here to New Orleans. Joel is

attending seminary here to become a pastor (i'm sure those of you who remember me or

surprised by that one) God does wonderful things though! We love it here in New Orleans

(most of the time). If you're ever down this way look me up I'd love to talk/see some of my

old friends. I'm the office manager here at our housing office on campus and I love it. Well

i got my BS in Biology from VSU and then moved to Birmingham to go to graduate school.

Tom Barker (Class of 90) and I were married in December of 1996. I received my PhD in

Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002. Tom and I

then moved to Seattle, WA for post-doctoral fellowships (Tom also has a PhD in

Biomedical Engineering.) We sepnt two amazing years there eating sushi and hiking in

the cascades and olympic mountains. We then moved to Lausanne, Switzerland to

continue to work in academic science, I was doing gene therapy and virology work with

ALS disease and Parkinson's diease. We traveled as much as we could and saw such

great cities like Paris, Barcelona, Prague, AMsterdam, Stockholm, Helsinki, Munich, and

may others. We had such a blast and could have stayed there forever. But...Tom was

offerred a proffesorship from Goergia Tech (who are rated 2nd in the country for his

field)...so we decided to come back home. I am transitioning out of academic science

and have strated a fellowship with the CDC to gain some experiene in public health.

I moved to Birmingham, AL immediately upon graduating and spent several years there. I

attended college and specialized in computer programming and networking. I got a job as

an application developer at a software company there making a legal case management

software package. While there, I got married to a girl I dated and had known for about 4

years, and divorced less than two years later (no kids). I moved back to Valdosta in the

summer of 1999 and took a job as a programmer at VSU where I am still employed. I

married Lori Martin from Ocala, FL in April 2001. I finished a Bachelor of Applied Science

degree in Technical Studies (computers and business) while working at VSU and also a

diploma from Valdosta Technical College in Website Design. I will graduate with a Masters

degree in Adult Education in Training and Development in May 2005. I have applied to a

Ph.D. program at UGA for Fall 2005. Lori and I now have a son who was born February 20,

2005. We also have a golden retriever and a cat.

A lot has happened since grduation. I got married in March 1994 to a wonderful man,

Tony Bass, c/o 1990, and we have two wonderful girls Megan almost 12, and Paige

almost 5. I went to Val-Tech for nursing and medical assistant. I started working for Dr.

R. Derry Crosby, D.O. in 1999 and am currently the Office Manager. In our spare time, we

do a lot of off shore fishing in our Grady White boat.

Well, it looks like I'm a little behind the curve as far as this site is concerned. After

graduating from VSU, I married my husband and left Valdosta in 2000. He is an F-16 pilot

in the Air Force and since we've been married, we've lived in Wichita Falls (TX), Phoenix,

and Aviano (Italy). We currently live in Clovis, NM but we're headed to Las Vegas in the fall

and should be there for two-three years. We have two beautiful boys: Rafe is four and

Caige is three. Of course with two rambunctious little guys, I've got my hands full and

have been a stay-at-mom since having them. I haven't heard about any past reunions so I

hope posting on here will keep me better informed - I would love to see old friends!

It's been 15 years since high school! Time really flies. However, despite the passage in

time, I am as handsome as ever. I graduated from VSU in 1995 and Mercer Law School in

1998. I am a partner at the Bennett Law Firm in Valdosta where I specialize in family law

and personal injury cases. I married the former Lori Swilley in 1996 and we have 3 boys,

Austin (age 6), Sam (Age 3) and Cole (newborn!). Lori is a Language Arts teacher at LHS.

I spend my free time coaching my two oldest boys in little league (Austin--"The Batmen"

and Sam--"The Incredibles"). I am now glad that Coach Kebler failed to recognize my

professional potential. Some of you may recall that, despite a stellar little league career

and 6-0 record on the 9th grade & JV teams, I only saw limited varsity action--much the

dismay of my fans and supporters. However, life is great and I would not change a thing.

I am currently living in Columbus, OH, with my husband Mike, one kitty, and one little

Beagle. I work for Battelle Memorial Institute's Toxicology Division. Pharmaceutical

research. I stopped competing in weightlifting due to injury and age, and because God has

led me in a different direction. We don't have any kids yet, but earlier this year I began

hearing the faint ticking of my biological clock. I drowned out the sound by buying myself

a motorcycle :o) Life is good, and I hope all is well for my old classmates. God Bless!

Update: Joined the Army and recently became commissioned as an officer. I know it's a

little late in life, but I wanted to support our troops and serve our country. I'm very proud to

wear my uniform!

Hope everyone is well. I joined the USMC after High School. Spent 5 years with an

Infantry Battalion. Done a few deployments. Got out in 97, met my soulmate (Melanie

Griffin). Worked with Ben Neal, done some farming in Moutlrie and, joined the National

Guard in 98. Went to Bosnia in 2001 (thats were I was on 9-11). Got back, went full-time

with the Guard in 2002 and thats what I am doing now. I am the Training NCOIC of an

Infantry company here in Valdosta. Yes I have been to Iraq as well. Got hurt about 7

months into my deployment and I am still recovering. Got married in 2004 and we just

had the most precious baby boy on Nov. 3 2006. (Forrest Griffin Boutwell). I havent seen

many classmates since graduation. To busy traveling the globe. I talk to Ben Neal pretty

often and work with Mike Ward; and of course Michele Griffin (I married her sister). I just

stay busy getting ready for the next fight. I would love to hear from you guys. Until then,

I was suppose to graduate with the class of 91 but screwed up and had to spend half of

the next year at LHS to graduate in 92. Well, I got married twice and divorced twice. I have

had 2 children both girls ages 13 an 6 yr old. Lost my father on June 17th, 2000 which I

am still struggling with. I moved to Iowa in 2003 and went to school at Southeastern

Community College in West Burlington, Iowa to become a paramedic. Got my A.A.S

degree as a Paramedic Specialist on May 11,2006 (would have been my dads 70th

birthday). I come under some medical problems of my own which has kept me from going

into the field. I am currently living in Lewiston, Idaho with my daughter and my other half.

We are living in a nice community, even though they are not FOOTBALL crazy as us

VIKINGS!! I have gotten DSL just so I can keep up with the Viking during the season. I

have a 28 yr old step daughter through my current relationship, which she lives in Denver

and i am currently at home with my two girls, madison who is 5 and megan who is 1 1/2.

After graduation I attended VSU for a few years and decided that I needed a change of

pace. On a whim I joined the Marines and worked with electronics. After three years I

found myself bored yet again and decided to head back to Valdosta for a while. Once

back home I decided to give Valdosta Tech a try and stuck with that for a couple of years

until I decided that I wanted to take a break and just work for a while. In 2007 I picked up

and moved to Ohio. I worked for Xerox up until January 1st 2009 when I along with many

other employees got laid off thanks to our wonderful economy. Since

electronics/computer people are a dime a dozen here in Columbus I am considering going

to OSU to finally finish up my education.

My wife, Amy Coody [Steedley] and I have a beautiful little girl, Austin Caroline (2 1/2

years) and a handsome little boy, Jediah Rhett (6 months). Our days are most spent

between diapers and daycare, but there is nothing like it. We still live in Topeka, Kansas

where she is employed with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation as a Forensic Scientist in

the Firearm and Toolmark Lab and I am currently prosecuting criminal cases for the United

States Attorney's Office. We have been very fortunate since moving to Kansas, but we

do miss the warmth of our friends in South Georgia. In the days just prior to our ten year

class reunion I was studying for the Kansas Bar Exam and regret not being able to see

Hello everybody! Yesterday was my second 30th birthday; I know y'all feel my pain. I

don't have a husband or kids yet though. What I do have is an undergraduate degree in

English and a master's in professional writing. Currently I am teaching English at

Valdosta Tech. I must say, I am thrilled to be back home. It's really nice to run into old

classmates and friends at the mall or Wal-Mart. Funny how seeing people from your past,

whether they were liked or disliked, just infuses me with a spirit of good-will. So, my

Hi everyone! I thought I should update my information. I'm now in Grenada going to

veterinary school. For those that don't know where Grenada is, it's in the West Indies just

above South America. I'm almost done with my first term. It's a difficult school, but I think I

can make it through. I don't really want to be a vet of dogs and cats. Since I have a

bachelor's degree in Marine Science, I'd really love to work with marine animals. I'm going

to be involved with a program here next August working with sea turtles. Well, when I'm

not in school, I'll be in Valdosta, lucky me. Anyway, just thought I'd check in. Hope to

7th grade to Lowndes High until the 11th grade. I left early because my folks were in the

military at the time. Seeing all of you makes me wish I had graduated with you. I joined

the world and now I am a reservist in TX. I live in Arlington, Tx where I also attend UTA. I

am starting a second career in nursing at almost age 30. boy, it ain't easy going back

Hello everyone! Well, after graduation, I attended VSU in Theatre (BIG SURPRISE!) and

also went to university in England. I traveled all across Europe for a few months and then

finally returned to Valdosta. I worked professionally as an actor for a few years and did

other odd jobs between gigs. I met my wife, Renee (c/o 1990) and we were married in

2001. I have two great kids, Anieyssa (6) and Bardin (3), and I LOVE being a parent...it is

the most rewarding thing anyone can do! I am currently pursuing a Master's at Piedmont

College in NE Georgia and teaching Drama at a middle school in Hartwell, GA (on I-85 at

the SC border for those with a map and nothing else to do...)I hope to be at the 15th

reunion since I was out of the country for the other two.

After graduating I did my share of partying. In '95 my father passed away, that nearly

killed me. Everything changed after that.......In '96 I married my wonderful husband, Keith.

Later that year we were blessed with our first son, Kaden. '97 we were blessed with our

youngest son, Kyle. '98 was not so good, lost my mother and became the guardian of my

youngest brother, Eric (15 at the time). That in itself was a handful, not to mention my

two sons that were only 14 months apart. Worked and raised three boys and went to

school. We got through it though. I graduated with a Marketing degree in 2000. I work at

PCA in Clyattville, yea the place that stinks when you drive by. hehe Love my job. We

built a house near Lakepark in 2004. Both my kids are very active in sports (baseball and

football), rec, travel and LMS. My husband started his business in 2007 and is doing

great. Our lives are full of blessings. I have lost contact with most everyone from school

and would love to hear from all of you. Especially the ones with teenagers........we will all

need each other to get though the next few years.

Moved to Orlando, recorded two albums with Naphobia, went on tour with obituary, and

Released solo album in 1997 called "contact". Since then, have settled down, bought a

of the Corps in 1997 I moved to northern California for 6 months then finally came back

home to Valdosta. After returning home I worked for VSU maintenance for a few years

and attended classes at Val Tech. Met my wife Becky while she was going to VSU and

moved to Stockbridge (South of Atlanta) then moved to Covington (East of Atlanta). I am

currently working for Amtico International (Luxury vinyl flooring company based out of the

UK) in the samples department. I am also currently enrolled at Mercer University for a

since October 2003 and just had our first child on December 5, 2005. Her name is Lily

Chris Gomez. I got out in December of 1996 and started going to school at Columbus

State in Columbus, Ga where I finally finished my Criminal Justice degree. I left the

Sheriff's Office in 2004 and to become an Alabama State Trooper. I am currently trying to

ge into our aviation unit as a helicopter pilot. I have been an airplane pilot for about two

and a half years. I still live in Opelika next door to Auburn. It's fun being a Georgia fan

and living here. I am still married to my beautiful wife Michele, who went to Auburn, and

we have two children, Lainie 4, and Kyle 18 months. I still get together with Kevin Moore

and Jeff Pruitt from our class about once a year.

I did not graduate with the class of 1992, although that was my intent. Due to a family

medical issue I instead, received my G.E.D. in 90. After which I simultaneously enrolled in

V.S.U. and Val-Tech. I completed my Nursing Assistant training at Val Tech but did not

graduate VSU as life had other plans for me. I married too young and was quickly divorced

a few years later. I then married my prince charming , moved to Atlanta, where I worked

as a retail manager until I became pregnant with our daughter Taylor. We moved to

Jacksonville to be closer to his parents. I began my career in the Insurance industry with

Prudential then moved on to exciting opportunities offered to me along the way. I divorced

within a year of moving to Jacksonville but it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I met a wonderful man, Scott Mayhugh, who is everything that I never knew I wanted. We

have been together for 12 years. We have 5 children all together, not counting our six

dogs, crazy cat, guinea pigs, and various fish. He has two, I have two, and we have a son

together. We have plans to marry in the Spring of 2012. I am now attending college to

obtain my bachelors in Accounting. I have been unemployed for almost a year but have a

new opportunity on the horizon at the end of this month. At this time I am a stay at home

son was born two months later on December 15, 1994 and is now 8 years old. That was a

joyous time in my life until my father passed away on Father's Day six months after my

son was born. I am a survivor so of course I made it through that time. Since then I've

spent two years at VSU and have beeen working at Lowndes Co. DFCS (welfare office) for

about 7 years. I've been dating Chris Williams (c/o "92") for several years as well. Life is

Hello...Don't know if many of you will remember me as I moved to Valdosta my senior

year. But I left Valdosta and went in the service only to hurt my knee during basic training

and took the option out. I then moved back to Tampa, FL where I had lived prior to moving

to Valdosta. There I met my husband while working for a local retail store. Since then we

have been together now for 8 years and been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Jasmine

age 7 and my gorgeous son, Marvin Jr. age 5. I have been very busy raising them and

doing all the things that come with parenthood. I was in the mortgage business for several

years but when the company I worked for had to close it's doors due to the economy I

began working for a company which is the outsource center for General Motors in their

legal department. I love my work and find the ultimate joy with my family. I will be working

on my degree next spring. I am looking forward to seeing the few of you I got to know in

my short time there! this summer for the reunion.

Marketing. Since then I wed my beautiful wife (during the time of the 10th reunion). She is
