I didn't get to graduate
from Lowndes, since my dad retired from the Air Force and we moved just before my senior
year. I attended the University
of Central Florida (Orlando) and earned my Bachelor's
degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1991.
I currently work as a systems engineer for the Naval Air Warfare Center
in the flight simulation industry. My
husband (also an engineer)
and I have 3 kids and are still living in the Orlando area.

I quit VSC in 1986 to get
married to Scott Armstrong, who is from Tn. We have two children. Christopher is
12, Rachel is 9. I was a stay at home mom til Rachel started Kindergarten. And although
the idea seems outdated, I never
d to go back to school and get a degree. I've
been working at my children's school part-time since then. First as
a substitute and now as an aid to a special ed
child. I consider it a joy to be able to say that I'm off when my kids
are. My husband is General Manager at a local Water Utility. We also Pastor a Pentecostal

I didn't graduate with
you all moved summer before senior year thanks to dad being in the Air Force. I worked many years in the restaurant industry
in Flagstaff, AZ, before moving to Florida. There I worked at a pharmacy for several years
and met and married my husband. We moved to Memphis, TN and had another career
change. I am now an assistant to two ophthalmologists.
One specializes in plastic surgery and the other in pediatric ophthalmology.
I have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. I am however, in the middle of a divorce.
It is as amicable as it can be I guess and should be wrapping

Hello everyone! Although I didn't graduate from LHS (I moved
during my sophmore year)-- I still remember many of you from Pine Grove Elem,
Hahira Jr. High, and LHS. I remember others from Moody AFB (where I lived), the skating
rink, and other places throughout Valdosta. Thanks to this
site I've been in touch with many old friends.
I would love to hear from others as well. Please
feel free to drop me a line! What am I up to? Well, I'm currently an 8th grade
math & health teacher at a middle school in Goldsboro, NC (the same city I moved to when
I left Valdosta). I also coach
baseball and soccer at the school. I've been divorced for 2 years after nearly
11 years of marriage. I have
custody of our three wonderful children

I married Rob Cairns, who graduated from LHS in '83
and from the USMA at West Point in '87.
I am the mother of Nathaniel, age 8, and Kathryn
age 6. I worked as a CPA for 8 years, primarily with the Atlanta and Nashville offices
of Deloitte & Touche. My husband is a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army Special Forces.
We now live in Pozzuoli, Italy (just outside of Naples) on the Meditteraean Coast. Thank you Larry for your work on this great

After spending a short
6 years in college I finally obtained a degree in Physical Therapy. Went to seveal schools
along the way and met alot of nice people.
I live in Albany, Ga and have been working at
Palmyra Medical Centers for 9 years.
I have never married but still looking. Unlike my twin sister that has been married
for 9 years and now has three children. Enjoy very much being Aunt Frannie to neices
and nephews. The Crenshaw's still get together quite
often and are fortunate to spend that time together as our family continues to grow. I work with an 11th grade Sunday School class
which helps keep me in touch with what is going
on today. Have a great life and
are very blessed. Travel quite
a bit and enjoy doing a
variety of activities.

made my way back to the states in 1996.
I lived in Maryland for a while working on

I decided to cross- train and the AF sent me

Tennessee, I returned to Valdosta and married Robert Edmondson (class of 84). Robert is
in the Air Force, so we have been moving around the world together for the last 15

I did four years at VSC,
graduated with a BS in Applied Mathematics. Go figure that - Mathematics! Someone fooled
me into thinking that would be easy.
As I was enrolled in ROTC, I recieved my commission
in the USAF as a 2nd Lt. and moved to Williams AFB in Phoenix, AZ.
I spent about 4 months in pilot training and ended up being tossed
because I couldn't hold
my cookies during a flight. Little did I know how much God was looking for me. (Oh - as
a side note, that partying jerk I was in High School and early College got religion during
my last year of at VSC. ) They
moved me to Colorado Springs and I worked in NORAD Defense
Headquarters. I worked in the
National Space Surveillance Center as
the Sr. Deep Space Analyst for five years.
I loved it. But at the end of five years it was time for something different.
As I was a local volunteer youth counselor during the entire
time in Colorado Springs, I was offered a job in Harrisonburg, VA as a full-time youth
pastor. I assumed that position in December of '94 and have been in Harrisonburg since then.
Being a youth pastor has been the greatest challenge I've ever faced. Helping teens dig
through their adolescent years takes a lot of patience. But it's also the most rewarding
thing I've ever done as well. I
am married. My wife's name is Cheri. We met in Colorado
Springs. We were both volunteer youth counselors together. She's awesome! Best lifemate
I could ever ask for. On the
side I am a freelance writer and teen motivational speaker.
I write for numerous magazines. My first book was just published as well. The
title is "Radically Plugged In" from Beacon Hill Press. I
co-wrote it with one of my editors,
Michael Ross. I'm working on the second, and possilby third,
one right now. Just waiting to hear from my publisher.
I've actually gained weight since High School. I'm about 160.
I look back at old pix of me in High school and can't believe how thin I was. I must have
had a tape worm or something. What a bone! EEEk!

VSU and got undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology. After that I continued
working on a Masters in Biology (completed) and did the traditional student teaching
gig for undergraduate classes. Considered attending Medical School, but after careful
consideration determined that I was more interested in the science and less in the
healing (not a good worldview for a doctor IMHO). Decided to pursue my other geek interest
- computers. Worked as head technician and manager for several computer stores
in Valdosta before opening my own with my wife Lisa in 1997. Business is booming and
we've expanded to internet selling. We're also expecting our first child (a boy) within the next couple of weeks.

Hi Everyone ! Since graduating
from "Lowndes" in 1985, I have served in the U.S. Army getting out in 1987. I
stayed in Valdosta few years and then moved to Brunswick,Ga. I eventually moved back to
Valdosta and worked mostly Furniture Stores in the retail sector. The last place
of employment for me before I left Valdosta for good was at a carlot
and sub-DJ`ing for one
of the local nightspots.I now live in Dallas- Ft. Worth Texas area and have been here for
the last 3 years.It`s a great place
to live. Since out here,I have boughta house and have
a great career in in the Freight Industry. The thingthat I miss most about Valdosta is
the people in that nice town and all all of you that I went to school
with over the years. Hope
all of you are doing great in whatever endeavor you have embarked upon in life and
that things will work out for all of us.

After graduating from Emory
in 1989, I attended law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas.
I graduated law school in 1992 and then went to work with a big Texas law firm in Houston.
I got married a year later, in 1993, to a woman from Kansas City. Her name is
Anshu. She too is a lawyer (she
is an Assistant District Attorney with Harris County).
Anshu was one of my class mates in law school. In 1996, the labor and employment
law section of my old firm broke off and opened the Houston office of a big National
labor Law Firm: Ogletree, Deakins Nash, Smoak & Stewart. The firm is based out of Atlanta
GA and Greenville, SC. I represent
employers in employment discrimination lawsuits (i.e., sexual harassment,
race discrimination, age discrimination, sex discrimination, etc.)
Anshu and I are expecting our first child, a girl, at the end
of September of this year.
I still keep in regular touch with Ken Williams, Jeff Edmondson,
and Celeste Coppage. I
keep in tough with Robert and Dana Dasher Edmonson to a lesser extent. I
guess that is about it. Looking forward to reading about more of our
classmates on the web.

I moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University. I graduated in 1990 with
a BA in Communications and a Minor in Music.
While in college, I traveled the country with a singing group as
well as a soloist. Finally, I
moved to Louisville, KY to work
as the Promotional Coordinator for WJIE 88.5FM. After much prayer, I moved to Atlanta,
GA to attend Youth With A Mission(YWAM) in order to get training in discipleship
and mission work. I then traveled
to Jamaica to do a missions outreach. I met my husband, David Grant, while in YWAM.
We were married September 12, 1992. He is such an
awesome man and has been a great blessing in my life. After David graduated from Asbury
College in 1994, we moved back to Nashville, TN. David was hired as the Youth Pastor at Christ Church in
Nashville. Our daughter, Tyler
Elizabeth, was born in 1994. She is the love of our lives!! While living back in Nashville, David encouraged me to pursue
my love of music. I recorded
an album in 1996 entitled, Kristy Hendley and was blessed
to have a couple of no. 1's on the Christian Charts. After working in youth ministry
and the music industry for 6 years, we felt God stirring our hearts to do mission work
again. We recently(Jan. 2000) moved to Auckland, New Zealand and are full-time
missionaries with Morning Star International. David is the campus director for Victory
Campus Ministries at Auckland University. I am enjoying being a Wife, a Mom and
working with young women on the AU campus.

and have 3 wonderful girls, Kaitlyn(7), Sydney(5), Madeline(3mos). Life can
been so interesting. I graduated with an engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1990 and just recently an MBA
from Albany State. I work and live in Bainbridge for Georgia
Power as a supervisor over a small headquarters. The biggest challenge of late has been
with our 5 year-old Sydney. You see, we did not know if she would even have a 5th birthday
this time last year. She has battled and beaten Aplastic Anemia after receiving
a bone marrow transplant in Nov'98. We had to relocate to Wisconsin for 4 months
and fight the disease with her. We are now living back at home and enjoying each other
and not going to the hospital.

I just found out about
this site in 2005 which means everyone reading this is now officially
old! I was never able to
break out of this town after graduation. Tried the college deal for
a couple of years but gave
it up. I was fortunate to end up marrying my best friend Michele Ricks after a short engagement
that lasted somewhere between 5-7 years. Time goes by so quickly these days raising
a daughter ( Brenna ) age 7 and a son ( Zane ) age 4. I work at Hughes Supply in Valdosta and pass the old
school practically everyday on the way to work. They continue to add on to what we thought
was an endless maze of lockers and hallways 20 something years
ago. We are your typical domesticated household trying to hang on to our youth. Third
Day, Mercy Me and other Christian bands have replaced my Billy Idol and Prince...but
not my Bruce Springsteen! Church and atheletics consume most of our free time.
I am amazed to find out how we have scattered all across this nation over the years but
I am glad to still reside in my hometown. I would love to hear from some of you if you
have the time or need to know anything about whats going on in Valdosta. All of you are
aware that we are the 2004 AAAAA state champions..........Valdosta
