I left Valdosta in 1974
when I married Ronnie, who is from Atlanta.We have been married over 27 years and have
2 children,Ron(26)& Wendi(24).Ronnie has worked for Coca-Cola for almost 29 years. For
the last 14 years I worked in the accounting dept. at a bank. Last year the bank was bought out by a large national
bank and everyone in the accounting dept. lost their jobs.I'm
taking a break at home for now.We live an hour north of Atlanta in the country, with a nice
mountain view.Would love to hear from everyone!

I graduated from VSU in
1976, and married Byron Brown (class of 71) that same year. We lived in Gainesville,
FL for 5 years, Thomaston. GA for 3 years, and have been back in Valdosta since 1984. Byron is an English professor at VSU and I teach
3rd grade at Georgia Christian School.
We have three children- Laura (born in 1980) is married and teaches school in New Orleans.
She and her husband were very blessed to have had little damage to their home from Hurricane Katrina.
Alison (born in 1982) is married to a physicist and she and her
husband are working on their master's degrees at UT in Dallas. Alison will be a speech pathologist. They should graduate in December, 2006, and
will probably move to Huntsville,
AL after that. Our son Scott
(born in 1988) will graduate from LHS in 2007. He plays baritone and trombone for the Bridgemen.
No grandchildren yet. Interestingly, my son and
both sons-in-law are all named Scott, so holidays get a little confusing.

Since graduating, i have
had 2 boys, 1 grandaughter, and one on the way. i have been married three times, twice
to my present husband. i have been a seamstress, a cook superviser for the state,
a part-time bus driver for the y in moultrie, part-time secretary, and now a certifided jailer in colquitt county. several
years ago between marriage 2&3, i bought 4 acres of land,
put my mobile on an acre of it and my neighbor plants soybeans on 3 of it. i also raise
chickens and eggs. i have been in colquitt co. since before graduating. wew! that's
a short version of it. thanks for the Web Site.

have 3 beautiful daughters now. Patty Casteen Gill,
30 is married and lives in Guam with our 2 grandsons, Austin,8 and Colby,4. Dawn Casteen Brevig, 28 is married and lives
near us in Valdosta with our grandaughter, Taylor that
is 8 yrs. Christin Casteen Crosby,
23 is married and lives in Ray City. I graduated from Valdosta Tech in cosmetology.
Then I graduated in 1997 from ABAC as a RN.
I worked at SGMC up until an automobile accident in Aug. 2002
causing severe injury to my right hand. I hope and pray that I can soon return to the
nursing job that I LOVED so much.

me with a precious daughter, Heather Hightower, who will be a Senior in the Class
of 2006 at LHS. She has been
with the Georgia Bridgemen since middle school and on the Dance Line throughout
high school. I am working as a nurse at South Georgia Medical Center
while going to ABAC for my degree. Yes,
I have had some difficult times, but God
has blessed me in so many ways...at times, He's even given me "double for my trouble."

in business for ourselves for 21 years. We own Clanton's Welding, Morven Tan &
Fitness, and Clanton's Rentals. We have two children Lee Clanton(25) and Katie Clanton-Gordon(23).
Our children are married; Lee to Samantha Dell Clanton and Katie to Derek Gordon. Also we have
two grandson's Tyler Clanton(5) and Dylan Gordon(3). Lee is
a fire fighter captain of Quitman fire dept. and a Regional paramedic. Katie is studying
to be a nurse at VSU.

I have moved around a bit
after graduating, from FL to IL and settled back in GA. I live outside of Atlanta with
my husband of 34 years and my youngest son, Jesse, 17. My oldest, Jocelyn 28, just
graduated from GSU after a 5 year absence because she decided to live in Guatalajara,
MX to immerse herself in the language and bring her husband back, Pepe. My second daughter,
Janessa 23, came from Peru at 10 months and now has 2 children, Liliana 5 and
Ethan 2. My third daughter, Joette 19, attends the University of West GA, is in her 3rd
year and has a GPA of 3.9. You go girl! She hopes to continue her education and get her Doctorate
at either Vanderbilt, John Hopkins or Emory in Atlanta. My youngest and only boy,
Jesse, is a senior this year, swims year round, coaches the younger kids on his swim
team and has applied to the Coast Guard Academy and the US Merchant Marines. He hopes
to be an engineer where he hopes to build and fly helicopters. My husband will retire in 2010 from UPS. We
shall see. I am a full time mom, grandmother and I
own my own business. I photograph children at different daycares, at my home and
at theirs. I also do event photography for dances and corporate companies where we print on site. Before that,
I taught school at different private Christian schools teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then high
school yearbook, photography, Spanish and Algebra. I have also traveled to many different
countries in Europe, SA and Canada.

Had i actually stayed in
school long enough to graduate, i would have been part of the 1973 graduating class,,
however life started happening to me before then and i had a baby for graduation.. I am now divorced and living in lake park ga
. I have three children who are smart and compassionate and loving and are the only redeeming
product of an eighteen year marriage.
I also have three grandchildren who
are showing great promise to be as wonderful as their parents. this web site
is a very good idea. thank you for your efforts to keep people
connected. i thought it needed
some input from the ordinary people , so i put in my two cents worth.

I hope you remember me.
I didn’t graduate with you but you were my classmates during 5th grade (Hahira Elementary),
6th grade (Pine Grove Elementary), 7th-9th grades (Hahira Junior High), and the beginning
of my sophomore year at LHS (1971).
My father retired from the air force and
we moved to Augusta. I graduated from Glenn Hills High but a large part of my heart belongs
in Lowndes County. I got married
and divorced when I was very young and decided to join
the air force as an air traffic controller. After seeing quite a bit of the world and most of
the United States and remarrying, my wife and I decided to retire from the air force in 2003/2002
respectively. We live in Henderson,
NV, a suburb of Las Vegas. I work for a Department
of Defense contractor at Nellis AFB and my wife is a Nuclear Medicine specialist
for Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada. I honestly feel like I became the person I am today in part because
of the teachers, coaches, and classmates I had during my time at Hahira. The memories I have of those school days will
forever be with me. I saw the pictures
posted of the 30 year reunion and recognized a few people. It brought a smile to my face.
I would love to hear from each and everyone of you. And if you ever plan to take a
trip to Las Vegas, you will always have a place to stay. A distant, but hopefully not forgotten,
classmate.

After graduation from high
school I received a BBA in Management with a minor in accounting from Valdosta
State. I have worked in various
CPA firms and at Southern Bag in the accounting dept.
In 2000 I opened my own accounting practice in my home. I have been married to Billy Faircloth
for 30 years. We have a daughter,
Kristi, who is 28 years old and got married December
15, 2007 to Chris Plummer. We
have a son, Chase, who is 24 years old, divorced, and has a 3 year old
son, Chance. Billy was employed
as an industrial electrician
and the company he worked for, Weyerhaeuser, closed the Valdosta plant last November.
He has been actively looking for employment.
In 2003, I had a cancerous brain tumor.
It was removed at Emory in Atlanta and I received radiation.
God has truly blessed me and
I am looking forward December 1 (my five year anniversary).

Stayed in Valdosta until
I was 30, working at Bayliner. Married twice and divoriced, had a son with each, Jeramy 30
and Justin 25. Moved to New Orleans, La for 5 years. Married again then moved to Atlanta,
Ga. for 2.5 yrs. Moved to Fl. in 1993 had a 3rd son Alec 13, divoriced again and stll
single. After 13yrs working for another boat manufacturer, I left and went into business for myself, transporting boats
mostly on the east coast but have been all over the country.

1977 with B.S. in Criminal Justice and joined the Army for some experience in that field.
Unfortunately, it didn't happen that way: I was asked to join the White House Communications Agency and
ended up working there for 3 1/2 years, the last 3 in the
White House Situation Room. Got married and transferred a year later to Germany and few
other places. Retired from Ft. Hood, Tx, bought a couple of acres west of Fort Hood
and now work for Dell Computer Corporation in Round Rock, Tx

Nashville, Ga. on May 12, 1973. We
went to the Jr/Sr prom on our wedding night. We have 3 children...Charity, Chad, & Brad.
We have 4 grandchildren...Austin
and Ethan(Charity's) and Chance and Destiny(Chad's). Louie retired from the USAF.
We lived in Illinois, Charleston,SC, Germany and here in Hahira
where we still reside.
We just celebrated our 35th anniversary with a trip to Hawaii
where we renewed our vows.
We also rented a motorcycle and rode around the island. We have
a motorcyle which we love
to ride. Life has been a blessing to us!!!

In high school I was shy
and had a couple of close friends, including Steve Kelly whom I haven't seen in over 30
years. If anyone knows how to contact him, please direct him to my email. I attented Valdosta
State College for a short period and then moved with my parents, Reverend George
and Ann Ryals to Cordele, Ga in 1975. I started in the grocery store business in 1974
and that is where I remain today. I worked for several grocery store chains while in Georgia including Winn Dixie,
Piggly Wiggly and Bi-Lo. I met and married Pam Ryals from Cordele,
Ga in 1980 and we have 2 children, Trent and Melissa born in 1982 and 1984. No grandchildren
at this point but still hopeful. I was always a dog lover and have bred and raised
Boxer Bulldogs. Currently, I have 4. Mother, Daddy, son and daughter which keeps me
on my toes and young at heart. We moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1990 where I began my career with Krogers.
Last year my wife and I purchased a second home in Warner Robins,
Ga with the intentions of finishing out my career with Kroger's back home here
in the Peach State. Last month, my dream of coming back to South Goergia was realized
and I couldn't be happier. I am an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, Atlanta Braves fan and
Atlanta Falcons fan.

Doug & I married shortly
after graduation and began our wonderful family. We have a son Chris who is married with
a little girl that just turned 4, but is actually a 20 year old at heart. Our daughter, Heather, is married with a little
girl of her own who is almost 2. My
grandaughters are the light
of my life. I have worked at Hahira Elementary for 21 years and plan to stay until retirement. Doug was able to take early retirement about
a year ago from the Valdosta Fire
Dept. We live in Hahira on the
land where I was born and raised. Life is good!! I have never been to any of the class reunions
- usually found out about them after the fact.
Maybe I will see you at the 40th.

in Valdosta. My husband works at SGMC, computer programmer and I work part time at Valdosta Medical Clinic

I was married 27 years
to my husband, Pete Tuohey Sr. My husband and I were married five years before having
two children, Miranda, age 25(Decatur, Ga) and PJ, age 22 (Lake Park, Ga). I have worked
several jobs until managing an apartment complex in Lake Park. Then in 1997 got my CDL
and drove a truck (18 wheeler) cross country for almost four years. Currently, I reside
in Lake Park with a roommate. I
just wanted to say to everyone, Live life to its fullest. I can say today that I have lived my dream,
I had a wonderful husband,have 2 delightful
children (now two successful adults). The reason I am telling you to live life to its
fullest is because in one year I lost my husband (Feb 5 2000) and my
health.

I have lived a full, happy
life! I presently live right outside of Savannah, teach middle school, and enjoy life!
As often as possible I try to visit Valdosta; my oldest son and
his family live there. For
many years, I was a military wife and traveled and lived all around
the USA. I
still love to travel and see the world.
The middle school kids I teach keep me on my toes so I try to stay
current with what is goin' on in the world.

I attended Lowndes County
High from 1970 to 1973. I was a military brat then and now have 18 years in the Air
Force myself. I'm glad I found your site, however I was hoping
to see info on there being a 25 year reunion this year. I would like to find others that
went to school at Lowndes the
same time I did.
