                 Hello, Bill and I celebrated our 31st anniversary Sept 2.  We have three children: Brent is a

                  27 year old graduate of Troy State University and is employed with South Trust Bank.  He

                  is married to Amanda Bynum and they are expecting TWINS ( boy and girl) in Janurary,

                 they will be the first grandchildren. Stephanie is 24  year old graduate of Troy State

                 University and is employed with Regions Bank. And last but not least is the youngest

                 Amanda, she is 21 and is currently attend Troy State University.  Bill is retired from the

                 US Army after 24 years. He is now employed with a contractor at Ft. Rucker, Alabama

                 where we have been for the past 21 years. We have settled down in Enterprise and plans

                 are to stay here.  I am employed with the Enterprise City Schools, as a school bus driver

                 for 15 years.  I would Love to hear from all of you.  Sorry I missed the 30th reunion but was

                 I started working for Southern Bell in Valdosta. I worked for five years there then I was

                 transferred to Macon, Georgia where I worked for another five years. Then, again I was

                 moved to Atlanta Georgia. I worked there five years. At that point I was tired of moving. I

                 met my husband who is from Birmingham, Alabama. I put in a transfer this time for

                 myself.  I moved to Birmingham. I married my husband. We have both retired and we do a

                 lot of traveling. We own a home in Birmingham. We are both very active in the church. As

                 a matter of fact I was the church secretary for 13years. I resigned in January of 2009. We

                 have several trips planned for this year.  I lost my mother in March of 08 and I have not

                 been back to Valdosta since. I am praying for strength to come back there for a visit.

                 Together my husband and I have 7 children. I have lost track of how many grand kids we

                 have. This is where I am until the master calls my name.

                 Attended VSU until 1974 when I married George Kirkland (class of 1969) and moved to

                 Jacksonville, Florida.  Graduated from the Univ of North Florida and taught high school

                 English for a few years.  Did some graduate work at the Univ of Florida and then went to

                 law school at Mercer in Macon in 1984.  Have been living in Macon ever since where I am

                 an attorney.  Remarried to John Cole.  I have 3 children - Deanna Kirkland, 22, graduated

                 from Univ of Ga in 1999; Paul Kirkland, 20, a student at the Univ of Ga; and Benjamin

                 Cole, 10.  My parents still live in Valdosta at Lake Frances.  I still consider Valdosta

                 home.  Had a wonderful time at the last reunion.  I can't believe what great people I went to

                  high school with!!!  would love to hear from any of you.

                 I married Tilford Copeland (VHS 1970) in Oct. 1972.  We have two daughters -- Cristy, 23,

                 got married last summer, lives in Warner Robins, and teaches 1st grade -- Tracy, 21, is a

                 senior at GA Southern University, majoring in Early Childhood Education.  Tilford and I

                 have lived in the Atlanta area since 1972.  We both work for BellSouth -- Tilford since

                 1972, and me since 1978.  We hope to retire in the next 5 years or so and relocate to

                 South GA -- probably the Warner Robins area.  Have had enough of the traffic, smog,

                 crime, and crowds in Atlanta!

                 I married Bill Dickey in 1973, we were happily married for 27 years, Bill passed away in

                 June of 2001.But,I have been blessed, because we have 2 wonderful sons, Jared 26, a

                 teacher at LHS, and Jonathon 19 a student at VSU. A wonderful daughter-in-law Stacy.

                 The best part is I have a beautiful Grand Daughter, Kayden age 4 months. I still live in

                 Lake Park, and I work for the American Red Cross, Blood Services. Life has been good to

                 me!

                 Italy.  Graduated from VSC/VSU in 1984 with B.A. in literature. Creative writing remains a

                 passion.  Have worked for SEARS as a Commercial Sales Field Manager for 17 years. 

                 As for hobbies, enjoy canooeing on Lake Juliette and the Ocmulgee River, playing blues

                 harmonica, slowly writing a book, creating folk art, and relaxing at home. Stop by for a

                 Partied at VSC for a couple of years until they kicked me out.  After roaming the South for

                  a couple of years, moved to Ft. Worth Texas and married a Texas gal.  Moved to New

                 Mexico and worked in the oil & gas business for 19 years.  During this period I attended

                 night school and earned my BBA & MBA.   Stayed married for 19 years.  My son

                 (Kevin)graduated from Texas Tech and is about to become a dad himself (meaning I am

                 about to become a Grand Pa for the first time. I dated and remarried a beautiful Texas

                 woman in 2002.  Unfortunately she died of a heart condition 8 months after our wedding. I

                 still live in the Dallas area and have a small collection of Harleys and try to ride one of

                 them every day.  Just returned from riding to Dublin Ga.  Still in the fossil fuel business as

                 I buy and sell natural gas thus my email name. I am looking forward to the next reunion

                 and hope that someone will contact me.  Would love to hear from any of my old

                 classmates.

                 I graduated from Georgia Tech in physics and went on to the University of Kentucky for my

                  graduate work.  I went to work for the Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg Miss. in

                 1980.  That's where I was when I went to the first LHS  reunion. I've moved around within

                 the Army Lab system since then and I finally settled here in Huntsville about 12 years

                 ago. I'm now the director of the Army's primary level radiation measurement and calibration

                  lab which is located here at Redstone Arsenal.   I married about 16 years ago when I was

                  in Maryland.  Her name is Joyce and she's a health physicist for the Army.  She's our

                 age and has a daughter from a previous marriage. My stepdaughter's name is Celeste and

                  she lives in New York City with her husband, Salim and new daughter, Emily who will be

                 one year old at the end of the month.

                 I joined the United States Air Force in 1975 and stayed for 23 great years.  I worked in

                 communications maintenance and spent four years as a first sergeant.  I moved a lot, of

                 course, living in six different states and two other countries, the Philippines (twice) and

                 England.  I retired in 1998 and now live just outside San Antonio, Texas.  I am married to

                 Jim, who is still on active duty, but planning to retire next year.  I have one son, Michael,

                 24.  He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1998 and now lives in Dallas and

                 works for Intuit.  (No daughter-in-law, no grandchildren.)  Since retiring, I have gone back

                 to school, taking some classes at one of the small local colleges--primarily computer

                 classes.  I've taken up hobbies I never dreamed of before I retired such as gardening and

                 quilting and recently have begun computer scrapbooking.  One of those classes I took

                 was a web page design class and one of these days I'm going to get around to designing

                 my homepage.  Most of my family are still in Lowndes County and I usually get back to

                 Valdosta about twice a year.

                 I married a Florida girl, Catherine, in 1976. She was raised in the Air Force, so the lifestyle

                  fit her perfectly. I retired from the Air Force in 2000, and I'm working on my second career

                 with the Georgia Department of Veterans Service in Decatur, GA. Catherine is a stay at

                 home wife and mom who takes terrific care of me, although if she had her way, I'd still be

                 on active duty! She is happily involved with the American Legion Auxiliary and is a Support

                  Member of the American Legion Riders. We have 2 children, a boy born in 1978 and a girl

                  born in 1982. We have 4 grandchildren, 2 girls and 2 boys. All 4 belong to our boy. He

                 and his wife are expecting again in October 2008. Our girl returned to Georgia in 2007 after

                  living in California for awhile.  We are happy to have her back home.  Her mother says

                 she's not letting her leave again! All in all, life is good.

                 relocated from Valdosta to Dallas.  The next move was to Knoxville then Milwaukee and

                 then back to Knoxville where I now reside.  I met my wife Jane in 1982 (from Greenville

                 SC) and we married in 1984.  We have two children Melissa (1987) and Nathaniel (1990). 

                 I left the retail business in 1997 and have been selling Residential real estate since.  We

                 have lived in Knoxville permanently since 1993.  We love the area.  We still have family in

                 Valdosta area and try to visit a couple of times a year.  Our doors are always open,  If

                 passing thru Knoxville area.

                 After graduation, I spent 2 years at VSC, then married Greg Dyar and moved to Rome,

                 NY, as he was stationed at Rome AFB. We lived there for 5 years, then moved to Miami,

                 FL for a year of training with Delta Airlines. Just before the year was up, I moved back to

                 Ridgeland, SC. I worked in Columbia, SC for a while then moved to Orlando, FL to work for

                  Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin. Worked for 13 years programming custom embedded

                 real-time image processors. During my Martin years, I met Randy. We have been married

                 15 years, and have two girls, Chelsea (12) and Aubrey (9). I did an 8 year sabbatical as a

                 house-mom, but had gotten back into the work force about a year and a half ago,

                 managing customer relations and development of a software product in a startup

                 company.  I loved this 30 year reunion!!! It was the best!

                 After graduation attended VSU (BSEd 76, MEd 89) Married Benny (VHS,72)in 1980. 

                 Moved several times while he was in the Navy (VA, DC, CA, FL) He retired after 24 years

                 and we moved to Woodbine, GA (a 20 minute ride to Jacksonville, FL) where I teach

                 special education for Camden County Schools at Sugarmill Elementary.  Benny attended

                 VSU and is now teaching in Brunswick, GA.  We were blessed in our mid-thirties and are

                 the parents of three sons (Jared 13, Malcolm 12, David almost 11) We also have four

                 goddaughters (two age 30, 9, 5) and three godsons (ages 29, 24, 11) We are active in our

                 church and feel very blessed.

                 Went in the Air Force after graduation and was in until Aug 76. I then went to VSC for a

                 little over a year. I married Nancy Lawson of VHS and we moved to Orlando.  Except for 2

                 years in Milwaukee, the rest of our time has been in Florida. I work at the Orlando

                 International Airport and have done so since '79.  We have 4 children and 3 grand children.

                  All are doing well. Wish I could hook up with some of the old buddies.

                 After graduating from Lowndes High I lived in Texas and Florida for a short time then

                 returned to Valdosta. In 1977 I married Linda Yarbrough who also went to Lowndes High.

                 We have three children Amanda 21, Crystal 19 and Jason 18. We have traveled and

                 moved quite a bit in our 24 years of marriage and we are currently living in Columbia SC. I

                 am a site manager for Rust Constructors where I manage construction and maintenance

                 personnel at Carolina Eastman Chemical Company. Linda is the Eastern U.S. area

                 manager for Geppeddo Porcelain Doll Company located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I took up

                 golf about 9 years ago and I am consumed with lowering my handicap. Linda spends a lot

                 of her time traveling with her job and visiting our girls that’s in college in St George, Utah.

                 I will be married 30 years on July 14th, yes I got married 6 weeks after graduation, but it

                 has worked out well.  We are very happy together, we enjoy traveling and spending time

                 with our children and grandchildren.  We have two children, a daughter, Tiffany who is 28,

                 and a son, David who will be 26 in August, both are LHS alumni, both are married, and

                 each have a child.  We have a grandson, Garrett, by our daughter, and a granddaughter,

                 Logan, by our son. My husband has worked for Frito-Lay, Inc. for over 20 years.  I have

                 worked most of our married life except for when the children were small, I am now working

                 at Smith Tire Co.,  as office manager.  We have lived in the Valdosta area all these years,

                 but I seldom see anyone I graduated with.  I think it will be nice to see everyone again

                 after all these years.

                 I am still in Valdosta and am teaching 1st grade. My husband of 21 years is an 8th grade

                 social studies teacher.  We have no children. We enjoy visiting other states, looking at

                 antiques and watching old t.v. shows.

                 I am still in Valdosta.  I am married to the same man of 26 years. I have two sons, Alex

                 23, Shareef 13. Went back to school after 20 years, graduated. Worked for an attorney for

                  8 years and am presently the County Clerk for Brooks County, Georgia. Would love to

                 hear from my classmates.
