                 join service 1970 - 1972, lived in atlanta for a while moved back to valdosta and went to

                 work for bearings and drives in 1976 , i am still with that company and now live in

                 savannah ga.. i have open up three branches one in gainesville fl , ocala fl. and  the

                 savannah branch. got married at the old age of 31 to a lovely lady from w. virginia and we

                 have one kid. still love to keep up with the vikings and often think of the good friends and

                 times at lhs.

                 Please keep me updated on the date scheduled for our 30 year reunion.  I haven't been

                 notified of any dates in the past and am looking forward to attending Class of 1970's next

                 reunion.  I currently live 10 miles south of Daytona Beach, Florida and have  ecently

                 remarried in May.   My new name is Vickie Marie Flaherty.  I attended LHS from 1968 thru

                  1970, graduated as a married student, going by the name of Vickie Marie (Crabtree)

                 Kelly.  Just ran across this web site a few days ago and was glad to know I can now have

                 easy access to information related to LHS, past friends and current events.  Looking

                 Air Force officer from graduation until the mid-1980's.  Bounced around from Colorado, to

                 Missouri, to Texas,and finally back to Colorado again.  Have spent most of my waking

                 hours doing analyses, working with databases, and crunching numbers of one sort or

                 another.  Currently the founder, President, doorman, and chief gopher for my small

                 databases consulting firm, Crescent Moon Partners.  Recently remarried to a wonderful

                 Colorado woman and delight of my life, Helen Broderick Griffith, who is taller than I am,

                 has more hair on her head than I do, and can generally kick my butt in everything we do in

                  the Colorado mountains - - snowshoe, hike, bike, and cross country ski.  Looking to

                 move to Oregon, Texas, or the Yukon one of these days soon to retire to the wilder side of

                  life raising goats and cabbages and writing my half-assed poetry.

                 specializing in Applied Kinesiology. I am married to a lovely lady named Jan who had two

                 children prior to our marriage. We have no children of our own and none at home.  I

                 graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA in 1983 and practiced in the

                 Atlanta area for about 13 years before relocating to Colorado in 1995.

                 Joined the ARMY in May, 1969. Served in Germany and later had a tour in Viet Nam.

                 Returned stateside in 1971 and spent the final year in the reserves. Married in 1977. 

                 While we lived in Valdosta in the '80's, our daughters attended school in Faith Baptist and

                 S.L. Mason Elementary.   Our daughters are both college students - one attends the

                 University of Memphis and the other is a senior nursing major in the School of Nursing at

                 Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Our son will be a high school freshman

                 in the fall.

                 present as Valdosta/ Lowndes Planning Director and now Regional Planning Director with

                 a staff of 10; involved with Georgia Planning Association, currently serving as Secretary

                 and American Planning Association; received American Institute of Certified Planners

                 (AICP) certification in '94; President and CEO of David J. Sutton, AICP, Planning

                 Consultations and Expert Testimony; community involvement includes being a founding

                 member of the Valdosta Heritage Foundation and serving as President in 1986; was

                 instrumental in saving the Jones Kindegarten Building which is currently located in the

                 garden of the Crescent in Valdosta;named one of the Ten Heroes of Preservation by the

                 VHF in '96; wife of 29 years, Marty(Cook High, Class of '71 and VSC '75) and I have

                 restored and live in an 1896 Queen Anne high era Victorian house in the Fairview Historic

                 District;  Marty and I wrote the application for this designation; have two children, David

                 Franklin, attending the University of Georgia, majoring in Geography (LHS Class of '99);

                 and Maggie Lurane an 8th grader at Lowndes Middle (LHS Class of '007);  Marty has

                 taught English at LHS since 1986 where we are avid football, baseball, basketball, drama,

                 ROTC, and Bridgemen supporters!  GO VIKES!

                 I have graduated from VSU 4 times, the latest is a Leadership degree in Administration.  I

                 am a Guidance counselor and head of the department at Lowndes High.  I've been here for

                  18 years after an 8 year stint teaching math at Valdosta.  Terry and I have been married

                 31 years and have 2 sons, Richard who is married to Tessa and is in law school, and

                 Barrett, who was a 3-year starting Quarterback for the Vikings and led them to their 2nd

                 state championship.  He is now playing football at VSU.

                 Electric Company after 35 years, and we moved to Valdosta 2004.  Built a home in

                 Dasher area.  I'm employed at Architectural Ornamental Castings, Inc as office manager. 

                 Have (l) son 37 years old living in Charlotte, NC.  He is single, captain for US Airways.  I

                 am very glad to be back home to enjoy my family and all my friends I've missed over the

                 years.
